Dear Parents of the Cahaba Heights Preschool and Mother's Day Out,

 Let me introduce myself, I am John Verciglio, the new pastor of Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church.  Let me express my gratitude to you and your family for giving the Cahaba Heights Preschool and Mother's Day Out program an opportunity to care for your child/children.  We see it as an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve you in this important way.
 Lisa Donahoo, Director of the Preschool & MDO program, and I share a common vision for this wonderful program—an opportunity to minister to you and your family.  It is our belief that, not only is it an honor to care for your child's physical needs, but we are honored to have the opportunity to share the example of God's unconditional love with your child.  I believe that one of the most powerful examples of God's unconditional love is that care shown to another because we do care, not because we "have to" care.
 It is my hope and my prayer that you and your child/children will feel at home here at Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church.  It is also my prayer that as you give us the opportunity to meet your childcare needs, should you be unchurch or looking for a church, could you give us the opportunity to meet your family's spiritual needs?  We have a full range of ministries for children (infants through 5th grade), youth (6th  - 12th grade) as well as several opportunities for adult spiritual growth through Sunday School, Bible Study, Prayer, Worship, and Missions.
