Mission Statement (God's Call to CHUMC)
Cahaba Heights UMC is called to share God's message of love and grace with all people in our community and beyond by using our gifts and our resources in each ministry opportunity to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Vision Statement (Fulfilling God's Call)
Cahaba Heights UMC seeks to fulfill our calling to share God's love and grace by using its gifts and resources of time, talent and money in relevant worship , in care for others, in equipping of disciples and in actions that transform our world for Christ.
Values Statement (Guides for Our Ministries)
Cahaba Heights UMC believes the following values should guide, shape and direct each of its ministries while fulfilling the five purposes of the New Testament Church. Each of our ministries:
is Christ-Centered in purpose (Worship)
is representative of a commitment to the privileges and responsibilities
of membership in the Body of Christ (Membership)
is oriented to growing people spiritually (Discipleship)
is directed at serving the needs of others (Missions)
